Your safety matters
Given the evolving situation regarding the Coronavirus, we are dedicated to making the event a great success with your safety as our utmost priority. Therefore, we will follow the measures and recommendations issued by the Belgian authorities. There will be measures on distancing, cleaning procedures, disinfectant supplies and more.
Even if remote testing will not be able to deliver the full value of an in-person IHE Connectathon, IHE-Europe is continuing to investigate technical and logistical feasibility as a fallback for the case that an in-person event would not be feasible in November. This is based on the results of the Remote Connectathon survey, which provided us with great input on participants' expectations. The situation will be assessed on September 15th.
Interoperability helps treating COVID-19
Please note that during this Connectathon, dedicated attention will be devoted to the testing of IHE-Profiles addressing COVID-19 use cases, such as XDS and XD-Lab (sharing of laboratory tests results), IPS (International Patient Summary) and ADX (Aggregate Data Exchange).
